Burbage Taekwon-Do was founded in 2001 at Burbage Millennium Hall by Master Wayne Higginson. From the beginning, the academy has been committed to teaching the art of ITF Taekwon-Do to local schools and serving the community.



Achievements and Growth

Over the years, Burbage Taekwon-Do Academy has trained numerous students to Black Belt level, with many progressing to compete at International levels represented ITF England at European @ World Championships, training alongside Master Higginson VIII Degree showcasing their skills on a global stage.



Present and Future

Today, Master Higginson (VIII Degree), along with Mrs. Higginson (VI Degree) and a team of experienced instructors, continues to lead the academy. They operate from a full-time Dojang Training Centre located on Hawley Rd in Hinckley, Leicestershire, providing high-quality instruction and fostering the next generation of martial artists.
